This morning I decided that the best thing I can do is something that evokes an emotional uplift. What? You bet. Well, ok, maybe it’s a little more complicated than that. I guess that’s just a good reaction to get. How vague. Is this a jumping off point? Or a jumping off mound of sand? Am I sinking into the mound of sand RIGHT NOW?

I’ve shot hundreds of hours of footage over the last 15 years, and yesterday I started going through it all. It was sort of like reading old journals: I was annoying, and it was mostly just a bunch of crap. I don’t know I’ve gotten any better; I should really more video to find out.
